We’ve completely revamped the cooling solution of the 2025 Strix G16 to ensure that you get the best gaming experience with your machine, every time. We’ve relocated all of the exhaust vents to the rear of the hinge, keeping warm air away from your mousing hand. The sides and bottom of the machine act as an air intake, creating a natural, efficient path for airflow. Air also flows through the keyboard deck, keeping your hands cooler during intense gaming sessions. When pairing an end-to-end vapor chamber with a sandwiched heatsink, Tri-Fan Technology, and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on both CPU & GPU, the 2025 Strix G16 achieves a lower noise level in Turbo Mode compared to the previous generation, while still offering the same calculated excellence you expect from a Strix machine.

This laptop replaces my 9-year old Asus ROG GL552VW and it basically beats my old laptop in every aspect. You may think that at this price range, Asus may have implemented glaring compromises to keep the price this low but this unit doesn't really have any of those unless you're nitpicky about specs, like having only FHD+ instead of 1440p. To be honest, the 1080p of this unit is good. You'll not see visible pixels at normal viewing distance unless you pixel peep. The design is gorgeous, the RGB lighting is gorgeous, the thermals are excellently implemented, the build quality doesn't feel cheap, and updating hardware parts is easy with the new easy to remove cover. With my old laptop, there are cons (like thermal issues) but Asus' laptop design has matured significantly at this point that if you want to upgrade just for the simple reason of your old PC's Windows 10 isn't going to get supported anymore, now is the right time. You won't regret choosing this.

Have not had it long, not really a hardcore gamer, mostly play WoT, which this is overkill for. I do like the RGB, though the keyboard isn't the easiest to ready(prefer the keyboard on my MSI thin 15, much easier to see for these old eyes). I use a separate mouse/KB combo so that negates the laptops kb issue for me. Everything else with this Asus is far superior to the MSI. Ease of access to upgrade drive and memory is the major perk with this Asus, it's a breeze. Added a Samsung 990 2tb NVMe. It has a quality feel, it's fast, the price was right. Wifi works great, and so far no heating issues. Playing WoT probably isn't push it much, but it's sitting on a Klim turbo frost cooling pad, mainly for having filtered air entering the laptop. The laptop fits this cooling pad perfectly and it's not noisy at all. No issues holding up to my TV using HDMI to get a nice big picture while blowing up tanks.

Se ve muy bien la Asus, su pantalla, el teclado, etc; pero no creía que con 16 en RAM se iba a trabar al editar un video, así que hay que instalar más RAM; en cuanto a los ventiladores se activan en cada edición, no hacen mucho ruido y es que si se calienta algo; el SSD de 1TB en suficiente para pocos videos pero ahí depende de tu cantidad de trabajo. En general la recomiendo, me gusta, solo que para mi hay que agregar más RAM y eso que no la utilizo para juegos, solo para editar o cortar/unir videos.

Just got a new laptop and it's seriously amazing! The performance is way better than I expected. It's super fast, whether I'm working or unwinding with some games. I've already put it to the test with a bunch of tasks, and it hasn't skipped a beat. Definitely a great upgrade!

Been using this for a little over a week now, the RTX 5060 performs superb! The screen is beautiful! Especially for being a laptop screen compared to an OLED display or monitor, it looks GREAT, the colors and overall image are very sharp looking All of my games( AAA titles or otherwise) run at high or ultra settings with high frame rates and no stutter! Going to be upgrading ram and storage down the line Runs GTA V Enhanced on High RT over 100fps in most scenarios I’ve also run Warframe with the “high preset” and runs over 120fps it looks beautiful and performs beautiful! I’m very picky when it comes to frame rate/graphics(coming from an avid desktop user…I have high expectations) and this laptop performs as good or better than it looks! I’m impressed The speakers aren’t super impressive, and aren’t super loud or anything I wish they were a little better, but they’re not terrible by any means, just not super LOUD, most gamers would probably be using a headset anyway for voice chat/streaming/gameplay anyway…don’t let this steer you away, this is a great laptop despite not having “the best sound system in the world” I Don’t notice any excessive fan noise or overheating issues of any kind I’m using it everyday for gaming and I can’t leave it alone! When I have lan parties at friends houses, my trusty machine comes with me! I’m always excited to open the lid, plug it in and start gaming! The RGB lighting is gorgeous! It’s also fun to show off to friends and family ;) I’ve owned many gaming laptops over the last 12 years or so, this is my second machine with an 5060 in it, and this one has been my favorite! Better than any of the rest!
